The dental health van is visiting our school in Week 2 of Term 3 (Monday 19th July). Notes have already gone out with the children, if you are interested in your child’s teeth being checked. Because the check and treatment are bulk billed there is no cost for eligible students. Please read the form yourself to find out more. The notes need to be back by the 14th June.
In Week 2 our Workers of the Week were Myrtle and Astella.
Both these students have been showing a commitment do producing a high quality of work.
In Week 3 the students were Astella and Talan. A quiet and steady worker, Talan tries his best to complete all his work.
Astella has already received Worker of the Week, but as we told the children when we started, you have to earn the award by working well consistently.
That's what Astella has been doing, so well done!
As usual, each winner receives thirty minutes of free time on a Wednesday afternoon, with a friend.
We are constantly monitoring bus travel and do our best to make everyone safe and happy on the bus, particularly John, our driver!
Please remind your child/ren regularly about bus rules. Children need to sit down on the bus, put their seat belt on, speak quietly and be respectful of others and there is NO eating on the bus.
Please also ensure that whichever bus your child goes on, it is the bus they need to go on. The bus is not for extra travelling trips for pleasure or choice. It is a service provided to get children to and from school the most efficient way. Thank you for your support in this.
The children are able to borrow from the school library every week. Could you please ensure that your child has a library bag in their school bag for the times when we borrow books for home? The bag just needs to protect the book from liquids and dirt - there is no special type of bag needed. We need to protect these valuable resources and thank you for your support.
