Information: GAT day and Course Selection Expo

What's happening on 9 June

On Wednesday 9 June there will be no on-site classes running. This will enable the school to facilitate the General Achievement Test (GAT) for senior students and to run our

Course Expo for students currently in years 8 - 11 and their families.

Program for each Year Level on this day is as follows:

Year 7

Remote, asynchronous (ie. Work is set and left for students to do – not live)

Students will be learning from home  for the classes they have all day.

Year 8 and 9

Remote, asynchronous (ie. Work is set and left for students to do – not live)

Students will be learning from home for classes in periods 1-3. No classes in the afternoon so students can attend the Course Expo at school in the afternoon.

Years 10-12

No classes running on the day due to the number of students across these year levels undertaking the GAT.

VET classes

All Wednesday VET classes are running on the day of the GAT. If you need to do the GAT then this takes priority. If you do not have to do the GAT then you are expected to attend VET. If you need to attend your VET class in the afternoon, then please attend the evening session of the Course Expo. More information about the Course Expo is below.
