9/10 Soccer

The 9/10 Northcote girls went to divisional soccer on Monday the 24th.  We started off strong winning our first game against East Preston Islamic College 8-0. Our second game was against Lalor Secondary College, who had also won their first game. Their team had some very good players but our defence was strong and we managed to beat them 5-0. For our last game we played Reservoir High School. The energy of the team was high coming off our win from the last game. We worked together well throughout the whole game and finished off the day with a 7-0 win. 

Congratulations to Polly who was the highest goal scorer, and to everyone else who scored. 

Polly 5, Zoe 3, May 3, Charlotte 2, Jemma 2, Nessa 2, Scarlett 1, Zara 1 and Camille 1. 

Thanks to Jemma and May who stepped up to be our co-captains for the day. Everyone did a great job and all the girls are looking forward to the next round!

Senior Soccer 

Congratulations to our Senior Boys Soccer team who recently competed in the Divisional Competition at Donath Reserve. With Carlos, Koh and Kai in good form, the team played well together, winning all of their matches and finishing overall winners.  They now move through to the Regionals which will be played on 28 July. 

Senior Table Tennis 

On May 10 our Senior boys table tennis team competed in the Division Competition at Reservoir High School.  They boys had some competitive matches with the final results coming down to the wire. Our boys eventually lost by countback to overall winners Lalor North. Great work boys. 

Senior Futsal 

Well done to our Senior Boys Futsal team who competed in the Divisional competition on May 12. Our team had some tough matches throughout the day but managed to make their way through to the quarter finals where they lost to St Johns. Koh and Dean were outstanding on the day and led the team well.
