Information and Communications Technology

ICT is an integral part of the Victorian curriculum.

At Black Rock we will continue to integrate technology into all aspects of the curriculum. This year in Year Five the students will have access to sets of iPads and Netbooks to assist with their learning.

Using ICT in the classroom will develop the students knowledge in:

• Creating a 21st century learning environment that engages students.
• How to safely and effectively manage an online identity through collaborative and closed learning spaces.
• How to use available digital solutions to develop skills and to demonstrate existing and new knowledge.
• How to use ICT tools to create, produce and communicate.
