Boarding at Loreto

Activities in the Boarding House

The Boarding house is filled with a mix of excitement and nerves with various activities and events including rescheduled Boarders Week and NAIDOC dinner is around the corner, practice exams are upon the year 12 cohort, Boarding Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl have been announced. Congratulations to Lucy McCabe and Gracie Vaughan as the front runners to lead our Loreto Boarders into an exciting 2022.

As spring tries to peek through the clouds Boarders continue to enjoy weekend camp fires and excursions. A recent first for most an experience at the Wallis drive in theatre, home made pizza's from Loreto's great catering team and a bus full of chairs, blankets, sleeping bags, uoodies, snacks and refreshments watching Disney Jungle Cruise. While the sky was clear and stars amazing it took every piece of clothing between the group to stay warm.

Our Boarders are making the most of the clearer weather, more walks before and after school, some are doing their bit for our environment by collecting plastic rubbish from the grounds before it ends up in the creek, out to sea and impacting the marine life. Loreto Girls taking charge as "passionate" young women.
