Studio Art Excursion

The VCE Studio Art class were lucky to fit in an excursion to the city before lockdown. 

We visited The Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) in the morning. They had an exhibition of works titled 'The Biography of Daphne'. The artworks all linked to the classical myth of Daphne who turned into a tree to evade the god Apollo. 

We then visited NGV which has a huge selection of artworks, and great examples of exhibitions for the students to explore and learn about art industry contexts for their VCE coursework.
