1/2 News
In 1/2 we have finished off our Unit of Inquiry learning about how markets meet the needs and wants of consumers. We have had a ball creating our own items to sell at our Mini Market. We sold homemade stories, paper airplanes, decorated jars, journals, picture frames, lemonade (with lemons from our tree) and jewellery. We were so excited to have made $221.50 to be donated to homeless people in Melbourne.
We have also loved learning about Telling the Time and Fractions in Maths. We became experts in remote learning in telling the time to o'clock, half past and quarter past/to. This week we have been exploring fractions of whole shapes.
In Writing, we are becoming authors of our very own picture storybooks. We have been creating narratives with a special message or moral. We cannot wait to continue these next week :)
