Science Week

What a fun-filled week of science!

This week Girton students in both Junior and Senior School have participated in a range of different activities. On Tuesday, students were invited to watch ‘Scinema’, a series of short films based on science. On Thursday we had ‘The Amazing Race’. Students participated in a race around the school completing various fun tasks from testing the pH of different foods, putting coke into Mentos and a Cheetos throw where students had to get 5 Cheetos to stick to their partners face filled with shaving cream.

During House Tutor this week, students constructed lolly towers with toothpicks and jubes. Students used their creativity to assemble the biggest tower they could with the resources they had. There were some fabulous ideas.

It has been a fantastic week to see all students at Girton involved in Science.
