Confidence

By this time in the term we should be growing more confident in different areas of our school work and our home life.  When we grow in confidence we can begin doing tasks independently.  This means we can start doing things by ourselves and without the constant help of other people.

This week at home talk to your child about one thing that they do with your help.  Encourage your child to see if they can begin to do this task by themselves.  It might be going through a time table without any help, or it could be just making their lunch on their own.  Give them confidence to begin doing this task by themselves.
