Co-Curricular Update – Summer Sport Term 4 2021

It is with sadness that I write to inform you that all IPSHA and ISA competitions have been cancelled for Term 4, 2021. This includes IPSHA Athletics and numerous NSWCIS events. At this point in time, the College is waiting on confirmation from other associations including Northern District Junior Cricket Association (NDJCA) and Ryde Hawks Baseball League (RHBL).

 

Mr Locke has indicated to me that where practicable, boys in the Junior School will be afforded the opportunity to train in their chosen summer sport. He will also explore opportunities for some interschool fixtures to take place. Clearly, this will be subject to health and government advice.

 

As for the Senior School, Mr Calavassy, Mr Dunne, and the Sports Department will concentrate on running internal trials once boys return to school so that teams can be organised prior to Term 1 next year. This too is subject to health and government advice. 

 

The College is also hopeful that Senior School teams can use this period of time to play some internal games or the odd fixtures against local schools if appropriate authorities deem it possible. Please rest assured that training and fixtures will only go ahead with relevant protocols in place.

 

Whilst the above-mentioned news will no doubt bring disappointment to our boys, parents, and staff, we hope you understand our predicament and wish to assure you that we will do our utmost to return to a sense of normality as soon as it is possible to do so.

Senior School Summer Sport Photos: Ordering On-line

Below, parents will find an access key, ordering instructions, and relevant information relating to the Senior School Summer Sport photos. Parents are advised that if they are experiencing any difficulty in ordering, they can ring the Parent Hotline on 1300 084 586 for advice.

 

Parents can use the new Grid View to see all group photos on one screen. There is also a new Favourites feature which allows parents to click the heart in the top right corner of a photo. When they click on the Show Favourites tab, only the photos which have the heart highlighted will appear. Group photos are $12.00 each with one postage and handling fee per order. 

 

To purchase photos, please:

  • On the Home page, click Order Your School Photos
  • Select New South Wales, Enter Access Key: 3U2QNHTM and your email address
  • Group Photos are $12.00 each
  • Orders will be sent to parents directly (not to the College) and will incur one postage charge per order.
