Astella the Author!

Here's another fabulous story from our local and prolific author Astella! Thank goodness we all have some extra entertainment in these times of Lockdown. Thanks Astella! 

                          Little Roo & Wallaby

The wallaby and little roo went for a hop one day and ended up in town they were lost they didnt know were there family were.

They hopped some more and seen a fish shop so they hopped in side the shop to have a look at some fish they loved looking at the fish. The lady that owned the shop was she was happy to see the kangaroo's but she thought she should help look for the owner of them. She realised that the flooding that happened washed them close to the town then they hopped into town because they didnt now where to go.

The lady took all day to find the owner but finally got them home. The owners were so happy to see there Kangaroo's home.

Sally and Adrian the Kangaroo's owner's told Lucy the shop keeper they would definatly be coming to her shop next time they are in town to buy some fish and feed for the animals.

Rumour has it that Astella is working so hard on her school work at home that she fell asleep, pencil in hand, maths worksheet on her lap! Now that's dedication... 

Zoom

We had another Zoom meeting on Wednesday at 11am and once again we had a small but enthusiastic attendance. Some of us were at school and some of us were at home. 

Astella showed us her lovely chicken, Myrtle had the very cuddly Theodore, Hattie read us a book about otters and Eli, Gaye, Mrs Emerton and Mrs Mac were there too. 

After the meeting Eli, Hattie and Kirra did some drawings of otters. (Eli didn't want his published even though it was awesome!) We looked at real life otters holding hands!  Take a look on You Tube if you have time. It's just beautiful!
