Students have access to the Chapel at lunchtimes and on Wednesdays and Thursdays there are prayers corners that they can attend. Each station offers a different prayer experience and they allow for meditation, reconciliation and two ways of offering special intentions. They can write a prayer and place it in our prayer wall or light a candle and take some time to pray for their intention. Music plays while students are present and they can stay as little or as long as they like. Thanks to all students who attend and for the respect they display for the time and the sacred space of the chapel.

Recently we have also been showing episodes of “Love on the Spectrum”, which follows a number of people on the autism spectrum seeking relationships. This opportunity has provided some great information and understanding about autism and the episodes are beautifully and exceptionally respectfully produced.

Joey's Van is again on next Monday and four students from year twelve will be attending. They have been wonderful volunteers to this social justice need as well as St Kilda Mums.

Sadly we have had our last two Building Bridges opportunities for Years Ten and Eleven canceled. Our fingers are crossed that COVID will allow us to finish the next couple of sessions.

I hope that our community is coping well under the current restrictions and that with God’s help we can emerge to better times.
