Thanks to the parents who were so supportive of the online Parent Teacher Student Learning Conversations for the Year 12 students. This has proven to be very popular with parents, as they easily move between one MEET to the next without leaving the couch or their office. We are also meeting extended family and pets!

Subject Selections for 2022 have now closed and students have had the opportunity to double check their submissions. Now we move forward to the planning of the 2022 timetable. This has been an extensive process, particularly for Year 9 students looking to study a Unit 1 and 2 subject in 2022, and for the Year 10s as they move into the  VCE/VCAL. Thanks to the Pathways and Organisation Teams for their work.

Next Thursday, August 12, is supposed to be the GAT for Year 12 students and those Year 11/10 students who are studying a Unit 3 and 4 subject. At this stage we have not had advice from VCAA regarding the possible re-scheduling of the GAT and will keep families informed as we receive updates.

The Production week for 'The Addams Family' is quickly approaching in Week 6. Everyone has their fingers crossed that this will occur, especially after its postponement in 2020, but the current lockdown has many understandably concerned.

A reminder to families that Brigidine Day has been postponed from Friday 27 August till Friday 8 October. Further details will follow later in term.

The very best of wishes to everyone in lockdown.

Front Office Reminders

LEAVING EARLY: If your daughter is leaving school early for any reason, please make sure she has a signed note from Parent/Guardian to give to her Homeroom Teacher in the morning. Your daughter needs to then bring that signed note with her to the Front Office at the time of her departure. It is your daughter’s responsibility to come to the office at the time arranged for pick up. Students are NOT PERMITTED to make their own way home or to an appointment. A Parent or Guardian MUST come into the front office to pick up the student. Students are asked NOT to make contact with Parents/Guardians directly via their mobile phone, to arrange to go home while at school as use of their mobile phone is not permitted. This contact will be made by Front Office or teaching staff only.

LATE TO SCHOOL: Please make sure your daughter signs in at the Front Office if she is late to school. If she does not sign in at the Front Office you will receive an SMS asking to explain her absence.

ILLNESS: During this COVID time we ask please that, if your daughter is displaying ANY symptoms, she remains at home until she is well or alternatively gets tested.

COVID ABSENCES: If your daughter is going to be absent from school for any reason please make sure you ring the Front Office to inform them, preferably before 9.30 am. The Front Office staff will then mark your daughter’s roll accordingly so you do not receive an SMS.
