Drama success
The high standard of ECP drama continues with the new generation. Congratulations to ECP drama students on their great success at the Regional Experimental & Student Theatre Show with their production of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. They have been chosen from all the teams in the Prague regional heat to go through to the next round of the competition where they will compete against student drama companies from the whole of the Czech Republic!
Úspěch divadelní skupiny ECP
Vysoký standard divadelní skupiny ECP pokračuje s novou generací. Gratulujeme studentům dramatické výchovy k jejich skvělému úspěchu na Regionální přehlídce experimentálního divadla s jejich produkcí hry Dr Jekyll a pan Hyde. Naši divadelníci byli vybráni ze všech týmů v pražském regionálním kole do dalšího kola soutěže, kde se utkají se studenty činoherních skupin z celé České republiky!
Cultural Olympiad
The ECP Cultural Olympiad was held on 7 April. It was a really fun afternoon with the four ECP houses - Aqua, Ignis, Terra and Ventus – competing to put on the best music, dance, drama and film, judged by a team of independent experts. Congratulations to IGNIS for winning the Cultural Olympiad! Well done to everyone who took part in Aqua, Terra and Ventus.
Kulturní olympiáda
Kulturní olympiáda ECP se konala 7. dubna v rámci zábavného odpoledne se čtyřmi kolejemi - Aqua, Ignis, Terra a Ventus, které soutěžily v kategoriích hudba, tanec, divadlo a film. Tým nezávislých odborníků všechna vystoupení vyhodnotil. Gratulujeme koleji Ignis k vítězství v Kulturní olympiádě! Blahopřejeme i všem ostatním, kteří reprezentovali koleje Aqua, Terra a Ventus.
IB Art Exhibition
ECP Year 6 Art students were proud to present their work at the 2017 IB Art Exhibition at the Knupp Gallery in Prague 8.
The girls were overwhelmed by the positive feedback they received and appreciated the support of the many staff & students who came along.
Výstava umění IB 2017
Naši studenti umění ze 6. ročníku hrdě prezentovali svá díla v rámci Výstavy umění IB 2017 v Knupp galerii v Praze 8.
Dívky byly zahrnuty velmi kladnou zpětnou vazbou a ocenily podporu mnoha zaměstnanců a studentů ECP, kteří je přišli podpořit.
Other Art News: Vanda Volčíková has been shortlisted in the top three for her entry in the International Fashion Competition at Regents University, London and Michal Zapletal has been highly commended.
Další novinky z oboru umění: Vanda Volčíková byla nominována mezi tři nejlepší účastníky Mezinárodní módní soutěže na Regents University v Londýně, dalším oceněným byl Michal Zapletal.

Open Mic II
OPEN MIC NIGHT II took place in the StopTime Music Bar on 16 March - great singers and musicians! Thanks go to ECP Music Teacher Petra Šuško for a wonderful evening full of music, songs and a song recognition quiz. We listened to some great performances, such as the Y2 music group performance Shape of You by Ed Sheeran; Agáta Nedbalová Y4 & Mrs Petra Šuško performing Million Reasons by Lady Gaga and Natálie Barešová Y5 with Adriana Štandová Y5 playing Summertime by George Gershwin.
Koncert OPEN MIC NIGHT II proběhl v Music Baru Stop Time 16.3. Byl to večer plný skvělých zpěváků a hudebníků! Děkujeme naší učitelce hudební výchovy Petře Šuško za krásný večer s hudbou, písněmi a kvízem znalosti hudebních skladeb. Mezi vynikající výkony patřilo hudební vystoupení 2. ročníku s písní Shape of You od Eda Sheerana; Agáta Nedbalová ze 4. ročníku společně s pí. Šuško zahrály Million Reasons od Lady Gaga a Natálie Barešová s Adrianou Štandovou z 5. ročníku vystoupily se skladbou Summertime od George Gershwina.
