Václav Havel Scholarship Fund Concert
The Václav Havel Scholarship was founded by students of The English College in Prague and one of the main events we organise in its support is a fundraising concert in the Convent of St Agnes. We are studying at a school where the colour of our skin, accent, nationality, sexual orientation or religion does not matter. Not everybody gets the same chance to study and we would like to offer a scholarship at the ECP to a Roma girl or boy.
The Organising Team - ECP students
The Václav Havel Scholarship was started six years ago by ECP students. A year ago we decided to follow up on this idea and start a new tradition of holding a fundraising concert in collaboration with the National Gallery in Prague and excellent musicians from amongst the students and friends of the College such as Vojtěch Lavička.
If you would like to contribute, you can send a donation to the following bank account number: 481831023/0300. For parents of ECP students - please use student ID as the variable symbol and VHS as the reference code. For other contributors - please put Your Surname VHS as the reference. Koncert na podporu stipendia Václava Havla
Stipendium Václava Havla založili žáci The English College in Prague a benefiční koncert v Anežském klášteře je jednou z hlavních akcí, které pořádáme na jeho podporu. Studujeme na škole, kde nezáleží na barvě pleti, přízvuku, národnosti, sexuální orientaci nebo náboženství. Stejnou šanci ale nemá každý, a my bychom ji rádi nabídli klukovi či holce z romské rodiny.
Organizační tým - studenti ECP
Stipendium Václava Havla založili před šesti lety absolventi ECP. Před rokem jsme se rozhodli na tento nápad navázat a založit tradici benefičního koncertu ve spolupráci s Národní Galerií v Praze a vynikajícími hudebníky z řad studentů i přátel školy, mezi nimi například Václavem Lavičkou.

Asian Festival
Our students raised about 30,000 CZK at the ECP Asian Festival for DAVA Association for victims of Agent Orange. Purchase of a ticket enabled unlimited consumption of delicious specialities of Asian cuisine.
Asijský festival
Naši studenti vybrali zhruba 30.000 Kč v rámci Asijského festivalu ECP na podporu asociace DAVA, která pomáhá obětem Vietnamské války. Zakoupená vstupenka umožňovala neomezenou konzumaci výtečných specialit asijské kuchyně.
The Smile Project
We’ve decided to create a project that could give children the opportunity to self-develop and acquire new knowledge. In order to raise money for the children’s projects, we are going to organise a photographic exhibition based on “smile” (of friends, family etc). The photographs are going to be picked from the photography competition, where both ECP students and the children from Dolní Počernice can submit their photographs. These are then going to be exhibited and auctioned during a vernissage.

Projekt Úsměv
Rozhodli jsme se vytvořit projekt, který by dětem dal více příležitostí se aktivně podílet na svém sebevzdělávání. Za účelem získání finančních prostředků na tyto projekty budeme organizovat fotografickou výstavu na téma ‘Úsměv' (mého kamaráda, rodinného příslušníka…). Fotografie budou pořízeny v rámci fotografické soutěže, jak studenty našeho gymnázia, tak také dětmi z dětského domova. Fotografie budou poté vystaveny na vernisáži a následně prodány formou aukce.
