Library News

Welcome back to Term 4.

Remembrance Day Library Display

To commemorate the many Australians who fought in World War I, there will be a special display in November.  It will contain maps and memorabilia along with a display of fiction and non-fiction books available in the library for all students and staff to browse and borrow.

Modern History and HSIE classes who study this war in Year 9  will be invited to visit the library to see the display and encouraged to borrow some of the books available.

Returning Overdue Library Books

All students are encouraged to return books and other items borrowed earlier this or see the library staff to renew any overdue items that are still needed.

Students with overdue items were emailed regarding this have also been reminded in the morning notices.

At the end of Term 3 there was one Mentor Group in Year 9 who had no overdue items after a campaign of reminders and they were rewarded for this with a small gift from the library staff last week.

Anytime is time to read - book display

Our current display features a “clock” with a difference.  Each number on the face of the clock is made from a book with that number in its title.

So look very carefully at our clock to spot the title for each number!
