Teach Meets

Last week all of our staff were involved in 'teach meets'. This was a network initiative that saw over 300 members of our local network of schools logging on to WebEx to share what they are doing online. From Art teachers to Prep teachers, Grade 6 teachers and P.E teachers, it was a great way to connect with other schools and learn some new tips or tricks that will assist us deliver remote learning.

Light It Up!

This week we have had all of the lights in the senior building replaced with LED lights. This means 128 lights will now be more energy efficient whilst emitting better light into our classrooms. It will also save us some valuable $$$ in the long run!

Some Very Useful Words

I put the below link up on our Facebook page last week. However, not everyone has access to our page so I thought it was fitting to post the link here. It is a poem from an extraordinary Canadian poet – Shane Koyczan. It’s called ‘Instructions for a Bad Day’. Some fitting words to remind us to keep doing our best with the situation we are in – this situation will not last forever.
