Home Learning in Prep

Congratulations to our youngest students who last week celebrated 100 Days in Prep!

Mrs Palermo, Mrs Stafford and Vicky planned many interesting learning experiences for the Preps to participate in throughout the week, such as creating a paper collage of what you would look like when you are 100 years old, going for a word walk and finding 100 words, drawing what you would buy if you had $100, building a structure with exactly 100 items and using hundreds and thousands to make fairy bread.

Our Prep students have also been growing ‘Grass Heads’ for Inquiry. They have been responsible for watering their Grass Heads everyday and ensuring they get enough sunlight, while writing about the changes they observe.

Our Prep students have been working so hard this term and we are all so proud of them.  Here is a snapshot of their week…

Well done to our amazing students and teachers in Prep.  We are so proud of all the work you are doing.  We can't wait to see how much learning you will do in your next hundred days!

Stay tuned for a snapshot of learning from another year level in our next newsletter.
