CREATIVIDAD (Creativity)!!

Last week students were asked to be creative and make something with stiff around the house.

One of our students recruited a so-called down model of her kitchen/dinning area. She spent quite some time, planning and creating all of this!                                                           Well done for your creativity and dedication! Great work Nina!

Literacy

Last week in literacy we looked at how stories get passed down and told and retold making it the bases of some of our creative novels.

Cuentos graciosos (funny stories)

Last week we worked on cuentos graciosos (funny stories). We watched a funny video and then created our own version of cuentos graciosos (funny stories) too! Check these out!

Mathematics

En Matemáticas (Mathematics) last week, we focused on ubicación (location) and learning to read and give directions on a map.

Check out how used the information from a map to give directions, using a brújula (compass), grid, scale and a Cartesian plane.

Assessments

Well done for everyone, parents and students for participating in our first online assessments, remotely from home! It was been amazing to see you all there on Teams and the outcome of your assessments! You have been progressing with your learning, despite the circumstances of remote, online learning, WELL DONE TO YOU ALL! :)

SRC update

The SRC have been working to organise an end of term celebration in the form of a Seesaw activity. They have come up with a range of fun activities for students to work through at their own choice. They can complete as many of the tasks as they would like. Some of the activities may require basic materials. The activity will be sent out on the last week of school, Monday 14th September. It will be available for the whole week for students to work through if and when they would like.
