Leadership Report

Sammy J, you've got competition!

If you haven't seen last week's video clip created, sung and produced by Phil Hudson, one of the parents, then do yourself a favour, it is fantastic. It was such a great way to finish off last week.

Sensory Play Area

The Sensory play area is now complete. It looks absolutely fantastic and should give the younger kids something different to entertain themselves at lunch and recess times. The fencing around the play area will stay in place till the commencement of term 4.

We are Growing! It's official.

I have been informed by the Department of Education & Training that a double classroom will be (portable classroom) located at Newlands due to our increased enrolments, outgrowing our existing classroom spaces. This really is fantastic news, it supports our submission that we are due and need a building upgrade in the future.

Virtual Transition Days

We understand that there have been some technical issues for parents to get on-line and we apologise for these glitches. We understand that in some cases the email invitation has gone to junk mail for some reason. For future days, please check your junk mail first before ringing the school.

Here is a video of some of our 2021 Foundation Students

On-site supervision-iPad/laptop

If your child needs to be at school for supervised learning please make sure they come to school prepared. They need to bring their iPad/laptop and charger. As we have sent out all devices and chargers we cannot supply either the device or charger....we have none at school.

COVID Update

So far we have had no information as yet about the remainder of this term or how we will start next term. I will certainly be watching our Premier on Sunday, along with many other Victorians.......bigger than Anthony Green and his big-screen on election night.

Thank you one and all.

Ross
