U7 GS Stars

Another great game from you all! Every game we see improvement in your passing and spacing and it's wonderful to see you all enjoying yourselves.

Our defence was strong, and it stopped the progression of the play heading toward the oppositions goals. Well done to our shooters Madelyn and Miane.

U11 GS Lightning Bolts

Friday night saw two teams bring out some fierce competition!  Even the sideline cheer squads were at a roar.  We held our lead most of the game with a few fumbles throughout the play because of rushed play. We worked passes down the court with a few drops but great team follow ups to keep the play in motion. Our defence was our strength this game which allowed for a low scoring match and a end up of a draw 7 all.

Let's work on passing in front and not rushing our passes.  Well done on an extremely tense game against the top team.

Scorers: Acacia (6) and Zahli (1).

U8 GS Thunder

The GS Thunder brought home a win after meeting the CH Lakers this week!  Our team implemented their zone defence (great reminding, Hadassah), and with more practice it will work better and better.  We orchestrated a few steals, and Ronil used his height to great advantage.  Rhys went after the ball voraciously, and Kohen put in a great effort this week.  Lorenzo was fouled near the end, allowing him to expertly sink both free throws in the last seconds of play, giving us the 6 - 4 victory.  Great game, Thunder.

Scorers: Ronil (2pts), Lorenzo (4pts).

U10 GS Rockets

The Rockets faced the team from Prescott again last night.  They are a very young team and our boys' experience showed during the game.  Everyone had a chance to run with the ball and we had lots of goals scored during the game. We walked away with a decent win this week.

Well done to every player!!

Scorers: Ashrith (8pts);  Divan (18pts);  Tatum (2pts);  Harry (10pts);  Hudson (6pts);  Luke (6pts) and Preston (2pts).

Year 5/6 GS Shooters

It was encouraging during the game to see the GS Shooters players confidently using the skills they learnt at training. The opposition were quick and the Shooters scored goals and performed at their best when they passed the ball to each other more.

Scorers: Kadin (4pts), Dhairya (3pts) and Micah (2pts).
