Campaspe Swimming Carnival

St Joseph's College absolutely blitzed the meet last week at the Campaspe Swimming Carnival!
We placed first in 47 out of 65 events, crowning us the overall winners of the day and second after our handicap was applied.
Congratulations to Bodhi Teasdale- Dohnt, Coby Morgan, Hanna Taylor, Ky Henson, Nash Ramage, Angus Watson and Millie Reid who won Age Champions.
Congratulations also to Brandan Batey for breaking the 2019 record in the 16yr 50m Freestyle!
42 students will qualify for the Loddon Mallee Region event in a few weeks to compete in 34 individual events and 14 relays!
What an amazing effort by every competitor!
We are incredibly proud of the sporting spirit you displayed and we look forward to continuing to watch you represent St Joseph's College with strength and kindliness!
House Captain Awards
Congratulations to the following students who were awarded the House Captain Awards in this weeks House assemblies for our school swimming Sports. These students were recognised by their House Captains for going above and beyond on the day, helping where required, filling in swimming spots, being a team player and representing the qualities of their house patron.
