Capital Works Update

Work continues to progress quickly at our new site at 194 Mt Terrick Road, now formally named Kildare Campus.

Over the past month there have been significant developments on the site with much of the preparation work completed and the buildings starting to take shape. The dam has now been completed and works will begin to erect fencing at the north end of the block.

Two concrete pours have occurred over the past two weeks with the administration building complete and ready for steel works to begin. Major excavation work along the front boundary and for the car park has also been completed with further works to continue moving forward in the coming weeks.

In other news, plumbing, drainage and storm water investigations have taken place at Dickson St (our newly-named Brigidine Campus) with works to commence in the coming months. This is significant work to be completed prior to the underpinning of the original building. There will be some disruption when these works begin, however the importance in maintaining a historic building is a significant step forward.
