Gr 3/4TR Digi Tech          

As part of IT in Grade 3/4TR the students have been involved in learning that is helping them to understand how their digital world works and to be creators of digital solutions.

Students have  been able to log on and access the school network using their individual logins and passwords. Each student knows the importance of keeping their password safe and not sharing it with anyone. Students have signed a Trinity School IT contract which parents have been able to discuss with their child.

In Grade 3/4TR all students have joined the  3/4  Google Classroom so that they are able to access online learning tasks.  All students have accessed the 3/4TR 2022 Folder. Each student then created individual subject folders in the 3/4  classroom folder, so that they can file their work and have easy access to it.

Students are also using their individual chrome book to access the ‘Student Portal’  which enables them to access learning programs they use in the classroom. For example ‘Essential Assessment’, Scholastic Learning- Lexiles, Study ladder, Mathletics, School drive and ‘Classroom’.

In the following weeks students will be starting coding during mathematics and also doing word processing to publish their work.

Learning is really moving along in Gr3/4TR.
