St Brigid's Parish Update

Bishop Michael Kennedy has appointed Father Kingsley Etoh as our new Parish Priest of St Brigid's Parish & Administrator of St Thomas More, Werris Creek.  This appointment is effective from Monday 25th April, 2022.   Father Vince Amaro will be returning home to the Philippines. The Parish are hosting a farewell for Fr Vince on Sunday 10th April - for details please contact Parish Secretary Bernie Press on 6746 1133.

In the scriptures this week, we read of God’s self-revelation and of his relationship with his people. This relationship is one of great love, but also contains an awareness of our fragility. Hence we heard of God’s warnings, his continuous forgiveness and patience, and his offers to us to start again.  (from 

Lent & Project Compassion 2022

Each family received a Project Compassion donation box to collect funds throughout the season of Lent.  This box is to be returned to school by the end of Term 1.  Thank you.

Sacramental Programs 2022

The Sacrament of Reconciliation lessons will be held as follows:

Wednesday 23rd March (Lesson 3)

Wednesday 30th March (Lesson 4)

Thursday 31st March        

(First Reconciliation 6pm - St Brigid's Church)

**  All lessons will be held in the Fr Stan Campbell Hall at 3:50pm.  A Parent/Carer is required to attend with the candidate each week. **
