Whole School Info (1 of 2)

Isabel Grace Bell
The School has recently heard the sad news that Isabel Bell passed away. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday morning at 88 years of age. Isabel was one of the key founding members of the school, as well as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
For those that wish to honour her, a Celebration Service will be held on Monday, July 18 at Sunshine Presbyterian Church (120 Anderson Road, Sunshine), commencing at 1.30pm.
The school extends their condolences to the Bell and Thompson families, and all those who were close to Isabel.
Tiqbiz Update
We would like to make families aware that Tiqbiz has recently undergone a major update, which means a few changes to the way that you receive messages, as well as to the way that we send them.
Some of the updates include no more 'Whole School' section (so please make sure you are subscribed to all of your children's year levels) and a new layout to the newsfeed.
There is also no longer a desktop app, so if you have downloaded this, it can now be uninstalled from your computer. However, if you would like to access Tiqbiz on your desktop, or any other device that you do not have the app installed, you can do so by going to web.tiqbiz.com and logging in with your username and password.
If you have not yet updated yout Tiqbiz app, you will need to do so in order to keep using it. A flyer is attached to assist you with this process.
The below flyer will also assist you in navigating the new layout of the app.
If you have not yet downloaded the app, we encourage you to do so. Tiqbiz is used largely for getting information home to families including notices, events and is particularly important for emergency notifications and is far more reliable than text messages. Please contact Reception if you have any questions.
Winter Uniform Reminder
With the weather particularly cold at the moment, students may need to rug up a little more than usual. The BHCS uniform caters for this cold weather. In particular, students can wear the warmer BHCS black jacket, and on sports days they can wear the BHCS tracksuit pants. There is even a BHCS black beanie.
Students are not to wear clothing of their own. If they wear something that is hidden from view (under their school uniform) that is OK. If it can be seen, then it is not. If your child feels the cold, please purchase the necessary BHCS uniform to keep them warm.
