Year 7 ‘Art Electives’ Exhibition 

The Year 7 'Art Electives' Exhibition opening was on this afternoon. Thank you to all those who came along.

 

The students' work will be available for viewing during school hours until 29th July, 2016.

Parent-Teacher Interviews

Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held Tuesday, July 19 from 4pm. Letters were emailed and Tiqbiz'd home regarding this. Please be aware that the interviews are for the subjects that your child was in last term rather than this term. 

BOOM Day

BOOM Day is next week Thursday, July 21 and the theme is going to be 'Christmas in July'. We want to see those Christmas sweaters, Santa beanies & Reindeer antlers. Be creative, maybe wrap yourself in tinsel and call yourself a Christmas tree or come wrapped in Christmas wrapping.

PFA Meeting

There will be a PFA meeting in the Tree Tops Café on Monday, July 25 at 2.30pm. All welcome. 

VCE Information Night

Parents of Year 10 students are strongly encouraged to attend the VCE Subject Selection Evening on Monday, 25 July at 6.50pm in the Gym.  Information regarding VCE at BHCS along with the subjects being offered will be discussed. The evening will begin with a general information session and then parents and students will have the opportunity to talk with teachers about their subjects.

 

Parents of Year 9 students who are wishing to accelerate in Year 10 are also encouraged to attend.

'Kids at Sea'

Prep to Year 6 Production

Maths/Science Night

The BHCS Maths/Science Night is on again this year on Wednesday 14th September from 6pm until 8pm for all students in Prep to Year 10. This year the theme is 'Colour'.

 

Activities will include: A Virtual Reality Space Experience, Break Out Room, Dry Ice, Rubin's Tube (this demonstrates sound waves using flames), Dissections, Making Rainbow Paper, Menthos Geyser, Show Bags, 3D Viewers, Cloud in a Bottle, animals, robots, enormous bubbles, coloured shadows,  illusions, maths games, competitions, supper and much more. Students up to and including Year 6 must be accompanied by an adult.
