This week Dr Cousins and I have been in Julia Creek in North West Queensland for the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association State Conference. While in the north, we were also able to catch up with our families from Charters Towers and Townsville.
The Isolated Children’s and Parents’ Association (ICPA) is a not-for-profit voluntary parent body who live rural or remote and advocate for children who attend a small school, boarding school or distance education. It is always a great pleasure to attend and support through sponsorship their annual state conference.
Friends of Boarding Meeting
Our Term 2 meeting of Friends of Boarding will now be held on Wednesday 14 June at 7:00pm via Zoom. A link will be sent to all boarding parents and carers on Monday 12 June.
End of Term
We are nearly there, your girls are nearly home! The school term finishes on Thursday 15 June at 3:10pm.
What’s Happening this Weekend
There is much excitement in Newman Wing this week with the much-anticipated Soiree on Friday night.
The girls will look forward to the following activities over the last weekend of term:
