Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program

Students from St Brigid's have recently undertaken an education tour of the national capital. Students were given the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs with a focus on Australia's history, culture, heritage, and democracy.

The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their Civics and Citizenship education. To assist families in meeting the cost of the excursion, the Australian Government dedicated funding of $45 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program. The rebate is paid directly to the school, St Brigid's included this rebate in the cost of the camp fee previously charged. We thank the Australian Government for their contribution.

Confirmation Family Night

The recent Confirmation family night was a wonderful experience for students and their families to come together and celebrate this important step in their spiritual journey. Students and families were able to explore the concept of the Holy Spirit and how it inspires us all to live, love and serve as Jesus did. The Year 6’s will continue to deepen their understanding with the Confirmation reflection day at Holy Cross on Friday 16th June.
