The Indigenous Studies subject concluded with another valued visit from our Koorie Engagement Support Officers (KESO), Rosie and Tammy. They facilitated the creation of a fabulous painting using traditional techniques and symbols. It told a story of our school, positioned beside a river, being a meeting place of people. Near the meeting place was a tall tree. Each student made their mark by a thumbprint representing the leaves of the tree. This painting will be presented to the school Principal, Simone Roy, during our final class and subject celebration on the 22nd of June.
