School Council

Meeting Summary
School Council last met on 14th June. Some key topics discussed included:
- support for students in absence of student welfare position being filled. Aim is to investigate other options to link with programs in the community.
-uniform policy was discussed with input now required from student body.
-low supplies of second hand uniform at the school to provide to students when needed. If families have items at home no longer needed or are able to donate items, please contact or drop off at the office. Please ensure they are clean.
-thankyou to Bendigo Bank for a generous grant which will go towards the upgrade of lockable lockers
-excursions endorsed for Year 7/8 Cross Country, ASSSTC, Year 9 Future makers camp and joint white water rafting trip with Wodonga Senior Secondary College
-update provided on School Wide Positive Behaviour program and its implementation with staff training to commence Term 3.
- Fundraising committee formed with Winter Warm Up Raffle launched. Please buy your tickets and donate an item to go into the hamper. Keen for any interested parents to join the committee or any fundraising ideas welcomed.
On 21st June School Council hosted a successful evening with approximately 25 parents, community members and teachers attending to meet with the school council. The 2022 Annual Report to the School Community was presented and discussed. Some great ideas and considerations were raised. Thanks to those that made the time to attend and support our school.

Winter Warm Up Raffle
School Council are hosting a "Warm up for Winter Raffle" and we need your support!
We are collecting donations of wine, non perishable food items and vouchers from local businesses to be added to hampers raffled.
Prizes:
-1st prize- trailer load of wood.
-2nd prize - Large Hamper filled with Wine, Gift vouchers and non- perishable food items.
-3rd Prize - Medium Hamper filled with Wine, Gift vouchers and non- perishable food items.
Tickets $2 each
All tickets should be returned by Wednesday 12th July
