Working Bee

Working Bee –
When – October 29th 10-:00am till 12.00 (with a Sausage Sizzle to follow)
Where – Ripponlea Primary School
We are a small School and need the support of the RPS Community to assist with the enhancing and maintaining of its buildings and grounds. A Working Bee is a great way to build community, make new friends and catch-up with old ones. They also provide the opportunity to see and be part of the changes happening at RPS. The School Council encourages each Family to assist at a least one Working Bee per annum.
For this Working Bee, the Facilities and Environment Committee would like to get the following tasks completed:
- Pressure clean windows
- Weeding
- Fixing of front fence
- Repairing of Spider Web (at the back of the oval)
- Moving of bike racks
- Cleaning of Back deck/ramp, near Junior playground
- Raking/filling of sand pits
- Cleaning of drains
- Gutters need to be cleaned. The short gutters to be cleaned are near the new lift.
Tools required: Pressure cleaners (a heavy duty one would be good for the Back deck/ramp job), rakes and weeding implements. We will have a Co-ordinator on the day who will assign jobs unless people have a specific desire. We will ensure any special tools/materials are available.
To finish, there will be a sausage sizzle and maybe a cold lemonade!!
An email from your class rep will be coming shortly from your class rep for you to RSVP to.
Please come along, more hands make light work. Children also welcome to come and get involved!
Thank you
