Crazy Hair Day

What crazy day we had raising money for Cystic Fibrosis yesterday- so many great hair styles! Check out the pictures below and an update will come soon from Student Council to let you know how much we raised.

The Block - Sausage Sizzle

A fantastic day down at The Block open day, a huge thankyou to the parents and students who volunteered on the day and cooked and sold almost 3000 sausages! It is through the commitment of our community to run events like this that supports the school to run the programs and facilities that we are able to offer.

Congratulations Wendy Newman

Congratulations to Wendy Newman and her new husband Shane, who celebrated their wedding on Saturday! Here is a photo of the stunning bride and handsome groom after the beautiful ceremony. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Hats

A reminder that as per the school SunSmart policy children need to be wearing their hats for all outdoors activities.  Thank you to those children who remembered their hats this week.

Jump Rope for Heart

A massive congratulations and thank you for participating in the Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser, to raise money for the Heart Foundation.

With your hard work and effort, as a whole school we raised $1,825!

Every Thursday, for the last two terms, all the student council members have been helping out and running the school skipping clinics. Lots of kids, of all ages, have been coming down to the mini pitch and have learned how to do simple jumps with the rope. It has been enjoyable watching kids developing their skills and having fun!

Is your child interested in learning another language?  We have Greek lessons running in the school library on Tuesdays 5-6.30pm. 

All students welcome! The lessons are tailored to beginners of any age - no previous experience necessary.

Please contact Tina Arumugam on 0411 773 840 if you are interested or drop into the library on Tuesdays after 5pm to meet our fantastic teacher Angela.
