During lunchtime on Thursday 8 August, we had the Maths Olympiad. Overall, it was a great experience, with kids running to get the questions and answering them as quickly as they could. The teachers did a wonderful job of organising the questions into easy, medium or hard, and that really enhanced the excitement that was fluent in the air.”

On Monday 5 August, during lunchtime, all the Year 7 ELMS students gathered in the Hall to participate in the Maths Olympiad. The Maths Olympiad consisted of house groups partaking in a mathematical challenge. Each group had to answer different variations of questions as a group and learn to work cooperatively. It was a lot of fun and created new friendships with the students. At the end the winning teams received a winning prize of candy, and overall a great experience.”
