Part Way is OK

Melton Secondary College has been working with Melton City Council to address concerns of traffic safety and congestion around our school, and is in the process of identifying ‘Part Way is OK’ points for school-drop off and pick-up times.

The Melton Waves car park is only a short 5 minute walk to the college gates, and can be reached safely by using the Coburns Road crossing point.  By walking part way to school, students have the chance to develop life-long healthy physical activity habits, and together you can beat traffic congestion, save time and the environment.

If the distance or congestion between home and school is an issue, then Part Way is OK is an ideal way to safely integrate physical activity into student’s journey to and from school all year round, and is an effective way to reduce drop off congestion around school.

I hope you can support our traffic reduction initiative.

Would you like to host a Japanese student.

Melton Secondary College is seeking host families who are able to host Year 8 or Year 9 girls from Showa Junior High School.

Melton Secondary College Animal Cruelty Awareness Week

During the week beginning 20th June, the Year 11 VCAL students will be hosting the Melton Secondary College Animal Cruelty Awareness Week.  During the week they will be running various activities to raise awareness of animal cruelty issues, as well as raising money and goods to be donated to Edgars Mission and The Sea Shepherd.
