Cowra High School Academic Excellence Stream 2016 Survey

As part of our planning and development for the Academic Excellence Stream for 2017 we are seeking feedback from students, parents/caregivers and teachers whether they are involved in the program or not. The primary role of the survey is to inform staff of the aspects of the program that students, parents/caregivers and teachers most value,  together with what else we would like to see incorporated in the future.

As part of our planning we would like to know:

• The things that you value from this year that you would like us to keep or emphasise more next year
• The things that we can add to the program or improve next year

The survey responses may affect the overall goals for the program, what additions we make next as the program moves into its next stages and how teachers may approach their individual classes.

The attached survey has nine questions - please feel free to put as much or as little detail in your answers as you like, or skip questions if you have nothing you wish to write. All responses are anonymous. A summary of all responses will be made available to the school community, with any private information removed.

Students in the AES started doing the survey this week in their Maths lessons. Thanks to all of them for the thoughtful and high quality feedback they have given (both positive and negative). The responses will definitely alter some of the things we do next year.

The surveys ask identical questions, and are separated so that we can more easily see the differences between the views of students and parents/ caregivers. Teachers have a third link that will be emailed to them next week.
