BRADMAN Cluster News

Maths week ended with a sizzle. After weeks of preparation, Friday marked the Bradman Cluster’s fundraising event in support of Catholic Care’s African Dads and Kids Camp in Marysville. Lunchtime at the green involved the stalls organised by our very own Bradman teachers and students with the company ‘African Drumming’ for suitable entertainment with students enthusiastically working for a cause rather than brabbling away. Collectively, the cluster sought successful proceeds with Bradman 1’s popcorn stand, Bradman 2’s soft drink stall, Bradman 3’s (temporary) tattoo parlour, Bradman 4’s nachos, Bradman 5’s hot chips and Bradman 6’s sausage sizzle. Students and teachers were occupied with the enthusiastic and amusing performance by ‘African Drumming’ who not only entertained the school with their ensemble, but educated the crowd on the liveliness of their culture.
"The green never looked so lively. I love dancing!", says Angela Tran of Truganini 7. Some numbers included our very own Jess, Lance and Morgana with Leo, Chloe and Shane who all had their own solos. Participation and engagement from the school community fulfilled the Bradman Cluster’s effort and hard work which was put in for Catholic Care.
