Congratulations to the following students for being recognised for outstanding efforts for this fortnight.
Janhrio Octura (B3) -BRADMAN Student of the Fortnight
Bradman would like to congratulate Janhrio Octura for his continuous dedication to the Bradman Cluster and the wider Community.
Jan has taken his role of Home Group leader very seriously this year and he continues to strive in all subjects whilst also committing himself to Bradman 3. His participation in Cluster Sport is always appreciated, as is his ‘lead by example’ attitude. He was a vital member of Bradman 3’s Fundraising stall, involved in the planning, organisation and running of the stall, which was a great success. With over 79 hours in service to Scouting, his service to the community is also commendable, as he continues to pursue the Queen’s Scout. Keep up the great work Jan!
Tuyen Nguyen (C4) CHANG Student of the Fortnight
Tuyen has been nominated this fortnight as an exemplary member of the Chang Cluster. Demonstrating a strong commitment to the completion of a well rounded VCE, she takes great pride in her studies of English, Further Maths, Health, Ancient History, RE Art and VET Sport & Recreation. Tuyen is polite, well organised and always ready to assist her peers when called upon. Further to her efforts at the College, she is dedicated to the care and education of her younger siblings, ensuring they will be well prepared when they join the Sydenham community in years to come. Well done Tuyen, keep up the great work.
Emma Merceica (D6) DUNLOP Student of the fortnight
The Dunlop Cluster would like to recognise the persistent efforts of Emma Merceica in Dunlop 6. Emma is a tireless scholar who always strives to do the best she can in all of her classes. Emma is creatively very talented, putting her design skills to good use in VET Signage where she is considered to be a gifted and diligent student. Not only is Emma a positive role model academically but she lives out the school spirit through being a beacon of positivity and always faces challenges with a positive attitude and a keen desire to put others first. Well done and thank you Emma for your positive attitude.
Natalie Basso (M5) - MACKILLOP Student of the Fortnight
Mackillop Student for Natalie Basso. Natalie has been completing her class work at a high standard, and is coming to classes ready to start work. Natalie stays in track with her tasks and applies herself 100% each time. In Numeracy, Natalie has grasped the Numerical Information the current topic we are studying and has engaged in the Share Market Activity since the first day.
Natalie has a happy disposition and is ready and able to assist anyone in the class if they need it. She participates in Cluster sports every week, playing an important team role in the girls team. Well done Nat and keep up your great work.
Joel Spiteri (T4) - TRUGANINI Student of the Fortnight
Joel is a talented musician, conscientious student and friendly face in Truganini 4 who the Truganini Cluster wishes to recognise as Student of the Fortnight. Joel frequented the stage several times during Talent Quest to showcase his guitar playing, highlighting his love of music and performance and enriching the artistic culture of the College. He is also being recognised for his dedication to his studies and positive attitude in classes. Lastly, Joel is a student who is consistently seeking to support others and demonstrates respect for all staff and students. Our Cluster is lucky to have him! Well done Joel!
Marko Delic (W6) - WINTON Student of the Fortnight
This fortnight, the Winton Cluster would like to take the opportunity to recognise Marko Delic of Winton 6. He is a high level soccer player, currently taking the field for Heidelberg United where he plays up front as a striker. Marko is in a position now where in the coming weeks, he has been able to get himself a trial with Melbourne City! At the same time, he also been playing for Catholic Regional College Sydenham and performing well. We thank Marko for his efforts with the community and congratulate him on all that he has achieved.
