2020 VCE ART EXHIBITION

On Friday 18th October we celebrated the incredibly talented work of our Studio Arts, Visual Communication Design and Media students at the Annual Art Show opening. Again, it was a huge success with over a hundred students, parents and staff enjoying the opportunity to view the final results of years of commitment by students to their chosen passions.

MESC students are renowned for their amazing artistic ability and this year’s exhibition highlighted this through not only the skills that they possess but also their desire to extensively explore concepts and go far beyond our expectations when working through their individual studio practices.

Ron Barron presented the “Ron Barron Acquisitive Award” and spoke wisely regarding how difficult it is to give up the creative urge even when work and other commitments impact one’s artistic sensibility later on. “Creativity is an itch you have to scratch for the rest of your life in some way or another!“
