Sport Report

The Jells Park “sports academy” is underway already into another busy year. Mr Zac will be dealing with all Inter School Sport and SSV competitions. Mr Farmer will be dealing with the Physical Education and the extra-curricular clubs. Keep an eye on the gym and GP room notice-boards for further information.

The school has been awarded a “Sporting Schools” Grant for Term 1 which will be used on a Golf Club for Grades 5 and 6 students. The club will start on a Tuesday 3:30 to 4:30pm starting from 7 March so look out for the notice to come in next few weeks. The Sporting Schools clubs will be spread out amongst the year groups during the year.

Also, an advanced notice that the House Athletics for Grades 4, 5 and 6 is at the Knox Athletics Track on Wednesday 15 March when I will be requiring lots of parent helpers. Please let me know if you can help out on that day and hold a current Working with Children Check and I can allocate you a job. We appreciate all the parent help and support towards the school sport at Jells and long may it continue!! Let’s hope for another great year of sporting success!!
