Monash Scholars Program and NAPLAN exellence

At our assembly on Tuesday 13th September, Year 10 students who have been accepted into the Monash Scholars Program and Year 9 students who achieved a result in reading and/or numeracy that places them in the very top band of NAPLAN were recognised.

Monash Scholars Program

The Monash Scholars Program is a prestigious program for high-achieving students designed to give them a head start in university life. 

Students selected for this program start during Year 10 and stay until the end of Year 12. 

Over the two and a half years students participate in a range of activities to enhance their learning, explore and develop their career ambitions and connect with other high-achieving students. 

In their application students needed to demonstrate academic achievement, extra-curricular endeavours and articulate what a good leader looks like and how they demonstrate these leadership qualities in their own lives.

NAPLAN Excellence

Congratulations to the recipients of the NAPLAN Certificates of Achievement.  These certificates recognise Victoria’s Year 9 students who achieve a result in reading and/or numeracy that places them in the very top band of NAPLAN.  This top band is the highest level of achievement in NAPLAN.
