TIRKANDI  LIBRARY  TATTERS

What a fabulous start we have had to the year in our library. It has been great meeting many of our students and discussing their reading interests and what they would like to see in the library.  Exciting times ahead as we create a space where students, staff and parents can come and explore a wide range of books and share the love of reading and literature.

BORROWING LIMITS FOR 2019

EARLY YEARS Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can borrow (2 books)

MIDDLE YEARS – Year 3 and Year 4 children can borrow (4 books)

FISHER – Year 5, Year 6 and  Year 7 children can borrow (6 books)

PARENTS Can borrow up to 10 books

Books can be kept for a maximum of 2 weeks before they become overdue. They can be extended if required.

Students in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will need a library bag to borrow.

Please feel free to bring your child/children in before or after school on Thursdays and Fridays to borrow books or do some quiet reading.

If you have any free time and would be happy to help with small library tasks please let me know. ‘Many hands make light work”.
