Aaron Glenane, Australian and Hollywood actor, joined our Year 11 and 12 drama students online in Term 3, to chat about how he forged his career pathway into acting. 2004 Deputy Captain and alum, spoke about how he started acting lessons to build his confidence. He guided our senior students through an audition process, a day in the life of an actor, not taking failure personally and the ability to look at your career as a business.
Moving from Ballarat to Sydney straight out of school and being accepted into the renowned Brent Street Studios, Aaron is now known as one of Australia's most chameleonic actors. He recently completed filming Shantaram for Apple TV and starred in the 2022 Netflix movie Interceptor. Other performances include 68 Whiskey, Snowpiercer, Killing Ground, 2067, Picnic at Hanging Rock and Ride Like a Girl.
Aaron will be returning to BHS in December for perhaps his biggest role to date, a guest speaker at the 2022 Awards Night.
We thank Aaron for participating in our alumni program and inspiring our students to dream big.
