During 2022 we have regularly provided students and staff with boxes of Rapid Antigen Test kits.
These were provided by the Department of Education to schools as one of our COVID Safe measures and to support the health and wellbeing of staff and students.
In Term 4, we will not actively distribute Test Kits to every student – but we have lots and lots of spares – so if you would like some boxes, please ask Team Leaders or General Office staff.
A reminder of the current testing rules;
- It is recommended that RAT tests are used by students and staff when symptomatic.
- Household contacts are required to test negative on at least 5 out of 7 days if they are attending a school site
- All positive tests must be reported to the Department of Health and the School
- Positive cases must isolate for a minimum of 5 days. If asymptomatic may return to school on day 6. If symptomatic, must remain isolated. Face masks are highly recommended
- After recovering from COVID, a 4-week period of exemption from testing applies
As a school we will be requiring testing protocols prior to camps and excursions and any student who is displaying symptoms.
Thank you for your support as we navigate towards summer weather and a healthy school community.
