Structured Workplace Learning

This week, the VCAL students have undertaken Structured Workplace Learning. The purpose of Structured Workplace Learning is to enable students to experience workplaces that are relevant to their future career directions. Before the start of this week, students completed relevant “Safe@work” certificate tasks so they could be allowed into a workplace under a SWL arrangement. They also had to source their own work placements with necessary documents signed by the student, employer and the Principal, Mrs Crisara. Each student has successfully obtained work placements with a variety of employers and staff look forward to hearing all about their experiences.
