Dear families,
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s and special people in our school community!
Items from the Father’s Day Stall have been sent home with students today. There are some great gift options available, we hope the gifts are enjoyed.
Thank you to those who supported this fundraiser, which not only gave gift options but also raised money for the school. We plan to use funds raised to acknowledge our wonderful teachers on World Teachers Day in Term 4 and extra resources for the students.
Details about the School Sock Fundraiser will be sent out next week. We are excited have The School Uniform Shop supporting this fundraiser. This is a great opportunity to stock up on socks for Term 4 and next year.
Planning is also underway for 2023 - let us know if you have any ideas of what you would like to see at the school.

Review of Events and Fundraising Information
Coffee Van at Book Week Parades
All the children looked amazing at the Book Week Parades! Well done to those who helped put together costumes.
The P&F organised Coffee-Mobile, coffee van to attend school on the morning of the parades for families to purchase a hot drink prior to the parades.
It was a popular option and we may look at doing this again in the future. Let us know if you have any feedback.
Father’s Day Stall
The Father’s Day Stall this year has been a success with 125 students taking the opportunity to order a gift for their Dad or someone special in their life.
There was a great variety of gifts on offer and ordering through CDF Pay makes the process streamlined and easy for those ordering and organising.
Thank you to Keira Peatling, Nat Tsirgianis and Belinda Riseley for assisting us to pack the orders so they could be sent home with students today.
Details of money raised and how it will be spent will be shared in the next newsletter.

Event and Fundraising Information
School Sock Fundraiser
The Parents and Friends is partnering with The School Uniform Shop to present a School Sock Fundraiser. Take the opportunity to stock up on socks for Term 4 and girls winter tights for next year - 25% of the purchase price goes to the school.
Full details will be sent out to families on Monday, 5th September when orders open. Orders will close on Friday, 16th September at 3.00pm. Orders are to be placed via CDF Pay.

Mini Golf Family Fun Day
Sunday, 23rd October 2022
Save the date for our Mini Golf Family Fun Day on Sunday, 23rd October 2022 from 11.30am-2.30pm.
Come along and enjoy a fun day out with your family and school friends on the mini golf course at Riverside Gardens in Kialla. A BBQ lunch will also be available.
More information will be available at the start of Term 4.
Helpers needed!
Can you help pack orders for the Father’s Day Stall? Helpers are needed to collate and pack orders ready to be sent home with students on Thursday, 1st September 2022 from 1.30pm-3.00pm in the School Hall.

It would be great to see you at our next P&F Meeting next week, on Tuesday 18 October 2022, from 9.00am-9.45am at school. We hope this time may be suitable to stay for a short meeting after drop off.

Register to be a volunteer
If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.

*Volunteer requirements*
Volunteers must hold a current Working With Children’s Check. These details must be supplied to the school office to also be held confidentially.
WWCC’s are free for volunteers, you can apply through the Working With Children Check Victoria website.
Business interest
Do you own/run a business, or know of a business, that may be interested in being involved in supporting the school community through fundraisers, sponsorship, in-kind support or at events?
