A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,

Last Friday was a fantastic day for our School, celebrating the conclusion of Book Week.   Unfortunately I was at a Principal's Meeting, but have looked at different photo's and by all reports, a great day was had by students, staff and parents.

Thanks so much for all parents in getting their child/children organised in outfits.  A big effort!  Thanks to our staff who joined in and dressed up as well.

A3 Sandhurst Arts on Show

On Wednesday, our Year 5/6 students attended Arts on Show at St. Mel's.  This is a time for schools to come together and showcase their talent in Performing Arts/Drama.

Our students, after lots of rehearsals, performed beautifully on the day and we were very proud of their efforts.

Special thanks to Mrs Angela Collins for all her work with the children and getting them to such a high standard.

Thanks to Michelle Black and Mr Joel Brian for their support.

We thank all the students who performed and gave up lots of time to practise.  It was lovely to see such joy on their faces.

Thanks to all parents who attended.

Here are some great photo's of our students at St. Mel's:

Athletics Day

Tomorrow we have our Athletics Day.  This is always a special day for all our School Community.

We will begin the day in the Courtyard at 9.00am with Sam Beks (Year 5/6 teacher and Gators Basketball Player) opening the Athletics Day.

Foundation to Year 5 students

Students are to wear a T-shirt in the colour of their Team, normal black Sport Shorts and white socks and runners.  Drink bottles with water will be required.

Year 6 Students

As it is Year 6’s last year, they can dress up for the chants in the morning, however they will need to wear normal sports shorts, runners and white socks for the Athletics.

No face colour or hair colour is permitted.

We look forward to seeing lots of people here tomorrow.  A coffee van located near the sand pit will be available from 9.15am.

Yours sincerely

Paula Stevenson - Principal
