A warm welcome to our new Prep families and welcome back to our returning students and families! It has been a delight to see such happy and engaged students in the first two weeks back at school. Fingers crossed for a more settled year.

COVID Update

As you will have seen from my compass posts, we have had a few confirmed cases at our school. Along with air purifiers, daily testing by students and staff, strong communication and parents being vigilant with keeping students at home with symptoms, I am confident we are keeping everyone as safe as possible. Please make sure you continue to test your children every day before they come to school. Next week’s RA Tests will be in your child’s school bags today or Monday. Please also make sure that if you need to come onto school grounds you use the QR code to check in and be prepared to prove your vaccination status. Thank you again for your continued support and cooperation with this.

Swimming

We are very excited to have started our swimming program this week after the pool being out of action for almost a year! Over the holidays we had the lining of the pool completely resurfaced to a high-quality product called Ecofinish. We are assured it is the Teflon of pool surfaces and maintenance free which means less chemicals in the pool! Look out for photos.

Consent forms

If you haven’t already, please make sure all consent forms are back to us ASAP. This enables us to share lots of photos with you via SeeSaw and our newsletters. If you haven’t completed them another copy will be in your child’s school bag today.

Student Representative Council (SRC)

Today was an exciting day in Secondary School. Sandra and I joined the students from Senior Secondary school at their assembly as they voted on their choice for our SRC for 2022. Please look out for these results and who will be our school captain and vice-captain in our next newsletter.
