Foundation | Literacy Week 1-9 In Literacy this term, students will start learning the first 8 sounds (m, s, f, a, p, t c, i). We will be exploring items that start with these letters and learning about ho w words are made up of groups of syllables and sounds.
French literacy will also encompass sound work as well as introducing students to high frequency vocabulary through the accelerated integrated method (AIM) which is when we pair actions with words. | Numeracy Week 1 - 5 Students will be learning how to classify, sort and count. Students may classify items according to colour, shape, size, type of object, language and other attributes. Numeracy Week 6 - 9 Subitising numbers
