We are preparing for the Season of Lent, a time to open our hearts, to listen to God’s Word and to share the Good News with all. Next newsletter, we will have links to Lenten reflections you can use as a family or for your own faith experiences. 

Shrove Tuesday is 1st March and we begin Lent with Ash Wednesday on the 2nd March. More information on how we will be celebrating these 2 important dates to come soon.

Parish Information

It is with sadness that we will be farewelling Fr. Pompeyo at the end of this month. The 27th February at 9.30am is the last Mass that he will be celebrating with us. Please get along to say farewell.

On another note, Bishop Shane has announced our new priest  -  Fr Novielito Lim will begin his ministry with us on the 9th April. In the interim, Fr Des will be supporting our parish.

Our Deacon, Jackson Saunders will be ordained as a priest on Saturday, 26th March @ 11am at Sacred Heart Cathedral Bendigo. We wish him the very best as he prepares for this sacred sacrament.

We are on the hunt for people who would like to support our sacramental children on this journey in 2022. This support would involve meeting regularly during the sacramental program  (approx 6 months from beginning to end), to help organise the faith formation night, preparation of resources for family groups and the celebrations of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation.
